DIGITAL UNCONFERENCE SOFIA 1.0

OBJECTIVE: Days before the start of 2018 Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, DIGITAL UNCONFERENCE SOFIA 1.0 aims to gather leading policymakers, disruptive technology companies and stakeholders in the digital ecosystem to brainstorm how Europe can build a digital society fit for the future.
The Unconference, unlike the traditional conferences, is a participant-driven format which stimulates active participation of all the attendants rather than sticking to the specific roles of moderators and speakers. The expected outcome will be shared with the EU Commission.
RESULT: OPREMEDIA created the strategy and execution of a world-class unconference where 700+ leaders from the digital industry met and discussed the EU digital policy. Mariya Gabriel, EU Digital Commissioner, was among the attendees actively participating in 3 unconference sessions among President Plevneliev, Minister Lilyana Pavlova and too C-level executives from the global tech leaders: Cisco, Dell/EMC, Google, Microsoft, GSMA, Accenture, Mastercard and many others.
